A collaboration between Amy and Pete was inevitable. After Glastonbury 2007 Doherty (pronounced Do-ker-ty by the way) approached Winehouse to record a duet for an upcoming Babyshambles album. Next thing you know the two are reported as BFFs, Pete visits Amy in rehab, allegedly witnessing her overdose and being hit over the head by her dad who believes he is a bad influence (what would give him that idea?) Other than all the media attention, which is getting a tad tiresome if you ask me, you forget why these two are famous in the first place. Oh yeah! They're really talented musicians! Pete told NME that the song was named ' You hurt the Ones you love'. Let's hope the collaboration is as good as 'Valerie'. Seeing as Mark Ronson has not surprisingly had a falling out with Amy Winehouse because she's been difficult to work with, let's hope Doherty can somehow carry on the flame. And not in a drug using way. This video may prove the latter a very likely possibility...but it's kinda sweet to plead your husband not to divorce you through a ventriloquist act with a mouse baby. Oh, only Amy.
